MAKE A DONATION
At Spaces for Hope Foundation, we rely on generous donations to transform living spaces for those in need. Our process ensures every piece of furniture and decor is handled with care and used to its fullest potential:
- Donation Intake: Donors can submit their items through our online form, email, or hotline. We accept gently used furniture, decor, and appliances that meet our quality standards.
- Pick-Up & Drop-Off: We coordinate pick-ups or accept drop-offs at our storage locations in Hamilton and the GTA.
- Inspection & Inventory: All donations are inspected for quality and functionality. Usable items are cataloged in our inventory system for matching to upcoming projects.
- Repurposing & Repairs: Minor repairs or refurbishments are done to ensure items meet our standards.
- Utilization: Donated items are thoughtfully matched to home transformation projects based on the recipient’s needs and preferences.

HOW TO APPLY FOR SUPPORT
At Space for Hope Foundation, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Our application process is simple, transparent, and designed to ensure we reach individuals and families who need our services the most. Here’s how you can apply for support:
1. Check Your Eligibility You may qualify if:
- You reside in Hamilton or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- You are part of a low-income household (proof of income required).
- You are facing challenges such as housing insecurity, disabilities, or trauma recovery.
- Your living space requires significant improvement to meet safety or comfort needs.
2. Submit Your Application Apply online through our website form. You’ll be asked to share some personal details, describe your current living situation, and upload supporting documents.
3. Review and Assessment
- Our team will screen your application and follow up if more information is needed.
- Shortlisted applicants will receive a home visit or virtual consultation to assess needs and space suitability.
4. Selection and Notification
